I Blame Genetics — A Poem

Shutterstock by Aleutie

Astigmatized eyes

Uncrossable beyhived thighs

Curvylicious hips for days

It’s not just the Lays

It’s my genetic ways

Tightly coiled sis lockable crown

Risin above ol skool grey matter

So complex, you drown

Uncrackable caramel black skin

Lil shyness within

Lotta magic within

I blame genetics

Once hated but today much appreciated
